Watch for a fun '69 Chevy short stepside buildup. Here is the 350 cu. in. engine installed with a THM350 trans. '72 spindles and disc brakes are mounted. A brake rebuild, new stainless steel hard lines and the sway bar will be next using polygraphite bushings from Early Classic. The 2" lower springs and KYB gas shocks are also from Early Classic. Color is a 1988 chevy truck color. More to come.

The truck is already looking lower. Rear axle is still a 6 lug in this photo. I have a 5 lug 12 bolt 3.73 going in on 4 inch lower springs when the front suspension is finished. Offenhauser intake will get a 600 Holley.

There was a very ugly plastic bubble sunroof in this hole. I have a doner roof that I will cut rapair panels from. Since there is an inner and outer roof panel it will be necessary to enlarge the outer hole to inslall the inner panel. With heat warpage such a problem on a large flat surface I am going to do the repair using panel bonding adhesive. It is supposed to be the hot set-up now in the body shop business. Stay tuned and we will find out together.
