This is the first picture I saw of the 1969 Corvette that became my car! I had been looking for a 'vette for sometime and had looked at a lot of junkers. When I saw the pictures and talked to the previous owner, I took a gamble and drove up to Colorado Springs Colorado to take a look at the car. I took a buddy and we made a road trip out of it, just in case I decided to buy the car, I drug a 20 foot dual axel trailer behind my Chevy pickup. While the car wasn't perfect, it was the best steel bumper car I had looked at. I decided to buy it. Two days later I was back in South Texas, tooling around in my new to me ride. Although the car looked good, and I had a ton of documentation on the car, it really was in pretty rough shape
Just about every system on the car showed wear, but it was still all in all a very solid car. So far I have done a lot of work to the car to get it back into reliable driving shape. Rebuilt Quadrajet Carburator, New Plug wires, New Coil, Pertronix Ignition, New Distributor Cap and Rotor. K&N Air Filter, New Radiator Hoses, New Heater Core and hoses, New Heater Blower, New starter the list seems to go on forever.

Here is another picture of my car after I'd had it home for a while.

Thank you for dropping by. Eventually I'll add more information to the web page.
