This page is dedicated to my 1979 Corvette. It was built in St.Louis on June 28, 1979 and purchased from MacIntyre Chev Olds on July 3, 1979. It's been on the WANT LIST for about 20 years now, and finally in October of 2000 it became a reality. It has the L48 engine and it is all original except for the stereo system. In 1979 there were 5,535 Corvettes brought into Canada of which 551 were Red (R-72) in color. All the numbers match on this unit and it also still carries the original paint. The odometer reads 76548 kms. Cool eh! These are my first set of pictures and also my first attempt at a web-page so please bear with me. As you can tell it is now fall and these were taken on the cars last outing of the year.
From this pic you can see how I acquired the title INDYNUT. This was taken outside my office at work. Yes, I'm employed as a sales consultant at RAMSAY'S HONDA. This car was on a promotional tour, and they just had to park it in front of my office. Ya gotta love the Honda powered Indy cars, right!
