Notes:
- Darrell
did a fantastic job on the rebuild! I highly recommend his
work. He is an excellent machinist and very professional yet
personable person.
- Always
fill the tranny with gear lube prior to mounting and remember to insert
the driveshaft yoke to prevent leakage during installation.
- The
Moroso pilot bearing is trick! The old brass one is removed by
packing grease in the pilot hole, inserting a punch of slightly smaller
outside diameter in the hole and striking the punch with a hammer.
The pressure created by the compressed grease behind the bearing will
force it out.
- Always
use new flywheel and pressure plate bolts! ARP are the best
fasteners available.
- Always
resurface your flywheel when installing a new disc.
