71 454 LS5 Engine Modifications

One thing I've done to the car since I got it is to modify the engine. The dynograph below shows the difference from when I bought the car to what it is like now.
When looking at the graphs, remember that they show rear-wheel horsepower and torque. For an older, stick shift car such as this Corvette, I'm told to expect a 20% drivetrain loss. This includes losses induced by tires, rear axle and transmission. Using such a conversion, the original power was 325hp @4500, 462 ft-lbs @3200. After modifications, power is now 489hp @5350, 554 ft-lbs @3800.
