Thanks for dropping by my cyber garage. I finally got it running, after months of cruzing the forum. I dropped some pics of my Beast for all to gaze at. We both reside not only here on the cyber blvd, but also in sunny Southern California.
Southern California is great place to be if you love rotating rubber. You can find me anywhere from cruzin PCH, The San Berando Route 66 Feastival (Sept),Pomona Auto Swapmeet, The original Bob's Big Boy in Burbank, Javiar's Vette Shop, or any of the many Vette events around the area. Just to let you know that I will be at Pomona Swap Meet on the 15 of July, and The San Berando Route 66 Feastival (Sept)I hope to see you there. I will be rolling the Beast, and I also hope to be seen in, by then my freshly restored 1969 big block coupe. The Beast is a white/red 1989 coupe. Some of it's many features on this 25,000 mi coupe are; A Power Effects cat back system with chrome tips, polish wheels, red leather, glass top, Bose stereo, K&N filter, new pulleys, 52mm BBK, fresh amps on my bose speakers, and a hyper chip. Only a few things left on my list including: new rear gears, cold air system, chrome embelms, match port the shorties, and new KYB adjustable shocks.
Well, now for my more recent project. It is a Lemans blue with black deluxe interior 1969 coupe. It is a 427/390 horse 4sp coupe that was a factory side pipe car it now has a brand new set of chrome hooker headers and side pipes. Almost everything on the car has been replaced or rebuilt. The engine was built by Westside Performance here in LA, it was also fitted with a custom Engle system since previous owner worked for Engle at the time. Engle is not the only name that is associated with this vette some others were/are Guldstrand, Helmet Haupt, Westside Performance, and J&D Corvette. As you can see from the picture which looks worse then it is that it will be going for paint soon. I am hoping to have it out by September as mentioned above. Some things that are on my wish list for this one are back bumpers, interior kit, new front hood vent, a back window, new t-top latchs, a remote cd system to hide in the back, and keyless entry. Last but but not least I am still on a search for a Monorco Orange 1969 Roadster. I would like to find 390 horse one with a 4sp and factory sidepipes. Here is a prime example, this was one of Charle Sheen's cars.
Come back and see us again!
