![]() Forgive the poor workmanship on this page (first attempt ever)
This is my 1985 C4. It has over 100,000 miles on it and I used to drive it everyday. It needs new paint and a lot of TLC but it's fun to drive just like she is. The 1985 CORVETTE is the best performance value in the world. These cars drive like a race car. 1985 FACTS

FROM DREAM TO REALITY.
I have been dreaming of owning a CORVETTE for 20 years. I was looking for a beat up C3 to rebuild when I found my C4.Before going to look at it, I decided that if the motor ran, I would buy it. I don't know why I waited so long.
Well, the car had been parked in a back yard for over a year. It did run but not too well. It had some light body damage and the repair work was not done right. No damage to the frame though. I was able to drive it home and intended on parking for 6 months while I worked on it. My friend Stepen came over and talked me into washing it and he put a coat of wax on her. Cost me a t least a six pack. We then pulled out a bad tint job. It looked a lot better. I gave it a good tune up and it started to run great. (The distributor cap was POS. After the cleaning and tune up, I started to drive it to work and have been driving it everyday. I have about $3800 in the car so far. It's not just a car it's a CORVETTE! ![]() |
![]() Started to clean up the engine compartment. Put in new valve cover gaskets. While I had them out, I took them down to bare metal and repainted them. The valve cover emblem was in the bottom of one of the back compartments. It cleaned up OK so I attached it with some JB-Weld.
