This car was an absolute disaster when I bought it; hardly anything worked, it squeaked and rattled, the interior was mangled, the paint was warn, the roof was cracked, the exhaust system was rusted out, and there were uncountable other little problems... But it was black, it had a manual transmission, and it ran and drove ok and I got it cheap. I bought it knowing that it would be a project car. Infact, I wasn't able to actually start driving it until I was able to fix a few essentials (like the gauge panel which was far far gone). In the end, I realize that I will probably have spent more money on this car than I would have if I had bought one in better condition from the get-go but that's ok for me because through fixing all the things I've fixed so far, I have learned alot about the car. Also I'm beginning to see how true the old saying "If you want something done right, do it yourself" actually is and since the car's already raggedy, I have no aprehensions about cutting here or drilling there to upgrade or change things and that's a bonus in itself...

My favorite thing about the car: The tight go-kart suspension
