USS Zora Arkus-Duntov CVN-79

The USS Zora Arkus-Duntov CVN-79 was created in February 2000. It was built to be a home for the non-Bubbleheads on the USS Corvetteforum Y2K-SSB.
Our CO is kbuicker, who quickly appointed me(Mr Mojo) the XO.
I then selected jj2180861 as our recruiter and Rainbow Warriorz(now Xtreme Vette) came along.
Then I took the ship to Old Bridge Township Raceway Park near Englishtown, NJ where I promptly recruited mackeyred96 and Red96Coupe as the engine guys. Red98C5 came on as the LSO. For a while the crew stayed at that. But as racing season progressed, more members were recruited.
The roster grew and grew and some members fell off the face of the planet while others were involved in other matters.
This is an internet fantasy Aircraft Carrier. It is a way for us hard working people to get together and enjoy pleasant conversation and have a rivalry with other groups of the Corvetteforum.
Some of these "crews" include the Blue and Gold Crew of the USS Corvetteforum, they have their own internal problems with sheep management. The Black Sheep Squadron is the air support that the USS ZAD carries. Others include the Blue Thunder, Polar Bear Club, Polo Club and a few others. The USS Corvetteforum was the first and original group to form of which the four founding members of the USS ZAD were part of. We were commissioned to head up the new Aircraft carrier for all the non submarine types. We are not in competition with each other in the real world where we have to fight real battles against the FORD and import cars of the world.
The core focus of the USS ZAD is the improvement and advancement of Corvette drag racing. A type of racing which the Corvette was not designed to do, but it does it so well. The majority of the "Red" Crew can be found Friday and Saturday nights at Raceway Park, where we train our sailors to battle the non-Corvettes of the world.
