Brad's "Mag Red" Corvette HomePage

Welcome everyone!

HERE IT IS!!

This is my first attempt at a homepage, so the concept of "under construction" will be similar to your summer travel woes on the highways - it will NEVER end! I am definitely not a computer geek by any means, so I'm slowly learning about all this "html" stuff. I picked up my new Magnetic Red II Corvette Convertible on May 19, 2000 at the National Corvette Museum (NCM - see more below). This car is not only stunning to look at, but stunning to drive as well (if I don't say so myself!).

This is my car "on display" at the National Corvette Museum. We had many people come up to us (like the guy above) and tell us it was the best looking car in the museum. I couldn't argue!!

Some of you may have heard that I traveled to Bowling Green, KY (where all Corvettes are made) and actually saw my car being built (or "born" as they say) on April 18th, 2000. Met with the legendary Sonny Kilgo who walked me through the plant and took me out to find my car after it came off the line to start the car in the factory! Great thrill and experience! Then, I actually took delivery of the car on May 19th, 2000 at the National Corvette Museum in what they call a R8C delivery, where you get to tour the plant (again!), get VIP treatment and a "special tour of the museum, watch videos of Corvettes and then see your car on the floor of the museum amidst all of the historic cars in Corvette's history. Then we got a 2 hour "hands on" review of Corvettes' features and gadgets. Absolutely, a memorable experience. One all of you should plan on when you get YOUR CORVETTE!

After an excellent "delivery" and explanation of the Corvette, it was time to start her up and head outside to the real world. This was just prior to venture Linda and I made through the hills of Kentucky (via the Cumberland and Daniel Boone Parkways), including an overnight stop in Hazard, KY (of "Dukes of Hazard" fame - oh boy!) It rained most of the way home, so we weren't able to ride topless (the only way to go!) until we got home where Kimberly (our daughter) was anxiously awaiting her first ride.

Thank's a alot for stopping by. As I learn more about building web pages, and as I take more and more digital pictures of my Corvette and other favorite things and places, I will add them to this page. I'm also trying to figure out how to have multiple pages so that you can see pics of the "whole" family and some of our favorite places. So please stop by again!! (maybe even add to your "favorite sites" list!) All my best, Brad PLUGIN:SIMPLESEARCHBOX
