Curt's Corvette Website

Welcome everyone!

Picture of the front. Visitors have help me decide if I should add a front bumperette. You can see the result. When I bought the car it was yellow with flames and called the "War Rat". One nice thing about buying a drag car is it had limited use and the body was not changed, so I got lucky to find one in such great shape. The frame is like new on the car as well.
1960 Corvette. After 6 years of chipping away at getting this car in shape, here it is. A lot of work, but more than worth the wait. Everything has been redone on the car and it rides very good with radial tires and KYB shocks. Steering is nice and tight and it is a pleasure to drive.

Always a nice feeling sitting behind the wheel. The gauges are in a great location even for a '60. They sure knew what they were doing when they built these classics.
It is nice to have a trunk. They did a good job on having one and also storing the soft top which is very easy to put up. This car was ahead of its time.
On the '60 vette they painted the rims to match the car. I really like the idea. The wide white walls were what the car would come with. Mine are not bias ply however. Radials are much nicer to drive on.
No it isn't stock, it is a 350 with a Edlebrock RPM intake and 750 carb. It has better preformance than the 283 it would have come with. I could have bought a correct block for the car pretty cheap, but the 350 is really a better motor, so I went for the stock look, but better performance. This car was really built to drive and enjoy, not to trailer around. It has a Muncie 4 speed as well.
Even the rear of these cars have great lines. You will only see this classic tail on a '58-'60.
Well, you have reached the end of my web page. Thank you for dropping by.
