All Corvettes are Great! But they're NOT all Red. This page is dedicated to Lynndale Blue Vettes.

I am one of the fortunate folks who happens to own their Absolute Favorite Corvette. A 67 L79 Convertible has been my dream car since I first saw one over 30 years ago. I liked everything about the 67, particularly what was new and what was missing from previous mid-year Vettes. There was less 'stuff' on the body, emblems & such, and we 'waxers' really like that. The 'gills' looked more like...gills...and looked more 'racy' with their forward angle. The parking break moved between the seats which cleaned up the dash area considerably and the back-up light over the license plate gave us rear vision at night without sacrificing two of the taillights.

Probably one of best features of the 67 Sting Ray, though, is Lynndale Blue paint. Lynndale was only available in 1967. It is a fabulous color that changes hue in different lighting conditions. Sometimes grey. Sometimes silver. Sometimes so blue you'd swear Chicken Little was right! The sky IS falling! Add a Teal interior and you have a Very classy looking Vette.
